Author's Tale:
After a divorce that took two long years to settle, I began a new chapter of my life.  When they say - Door Closes - Window Opens - they are not kidding!  Life is really an adventure.  I'm glad I signed up for it!  I took up falconry, hot air ballooning, became one of the first female presidents of the Japan-America Society, hung out with horror writers, tilted at windmills and became a standup comic.

I launched what would become a six year odyssey, traveling the country interviewing over 500 men about love, commitment, marriage and women.  I was driven to understand what went wrong with my marriage.  It was a surprising and bittersweet journey.  I became THE WOMAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH.  The flavors of my adventure and what I learned about "Guy-Think" are captured in my book - 527 Naked Men &One Woman.

Outtakes from 527 Naked Men:

"Women know what they want.  They're very realistic.  A lot of them will do whatever it takes to achieve their goals.  Whatever it takes to get rid of a man or to get close to him.  They are much more focused on what they want then men are. "                           ... Ryan, 24, student, married

"It wasn't  initially apparent, but it became so after while.  There was a tape loop that ran in her head.  I started to repeat itself afterwhile.  There was only so much in there."
                                                                                                         ... Mike, 27, journalist, single

"A good wife should be your best friend and severest critic.  You need her to be your critic because she has to be our counsel."      ... Joe, age 42, married three times  (too much criticism?)

"There is a meaning attached to wedding bands.  It helps in a time of possible destruction of the unit.  When the shit's gonna hit the fan, sometimes that band might just make somebody stop and think.  It has it's own power.  Perceived power, but still power. "
... Brad, age 44, doctor, married

"I tune out when she rambles.  Too self-focused.  You know, the Seven Dwarfs: Naggy, Bitchy, Whiney."                                                                    ... John, 40, mortgage broker, divorced
